Red Sea
Lat/Long: 15.0000, 42.0000
Located between the Arabian Peninsula and Northeast Africa, the Red Sea is a narrow sea and approximately 1,200 miles long. Connecting on the North with the Mediterranean Sea through the Gulf of Suez and the Suez Canal, and on the South with the Arabian Sea through the strait of Bab-al-Mandab, the sea serves as a major shipping route between Europe, the Far East, and Australia.
