A BILL
For the relief of Phineas Capen, legal administrator of John Cox, deceased, of Boston.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre-
sentatives of the United States of America in Congress
assembled
, That the sum of four hundred thirty-six dollars
and twenty-eight cents be, and the same is hereby, directed
to be paid, out of any moneys in the treasury not other-
wise appropriated, to Phineas Capen, legal administrator
of John Cox, late of Boston, deceased, it being the amount
due to the said John Cox, deceased, by the United States,
for his services on board of one of its ships, and which
said sum was fraudulently obtained from the treasury
officers by a person unknown to, and unauthorized by, the
heirs and the legal administrator of the said John Cox,
deceased.
