Making an appropriation to supply in part a deficiency in the appropriations for subsistence in kind of the army and volunteers during the year ending the 30th June, 1848.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre- sentatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the sum of one million of dollars be, and the same is hereby, appropriated to supply in part a deficiency in the appropriations for the subsistence in kind of the army and volunteers during the year ending the thirtieth of June, one thousand eight hundred and forty- eight, to be paid out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated. |
