For the relief of George Newton.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre-
sentatives of the United States of America in Congress
assembled
, That the Secretary of War be, and he is here-
by authorized and required to pay to George Newton, of
the town of Johnstown, and State of New York, six hun-
dred and ten dollars and ninety-three cents, for arrears of
pension from the fourth day of March, eighteen hundred
and nineteen, to the seventh day of April, eighteen hundred
and thirty-eight, being at the rate of two dollars and sixty-
six cents and two-thirds of a cent per month, out of any
money not otherwise appropriated.
