A BILL
[?] payment of arrearages of pension to Antho-

⋄Strike out all after an acting clause &c.⋄
⋄That the pension ^heretofore and^ now allowed by law to Anthony Walton Bayard shall be, and the same hereby is, increased
from eight to twelve
^fifteen^ dollars per month, and be continued at that rate for and during the term of his natural
life, and that the pension aforesaid commenced on March 4th, 1848⋄

Providing for the payment of arrearages of pension to Anthony Walton Bayard.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre- sentatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, ^(^That the pension of Anthony Walton Bayard shall commence on the seventeenth day of March, eighteen hundred and seventeen; and that he shall be entitled to re- ceive the arrearages of the same, at the rate of eight dol- lars per month, from the said seventeenth day of March, eighteen hundred and seventeen, up to the time from which his said pension has already been paid to him.^)^ |
