For the relief of David Myerle.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre- sentatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That there be paid to David Myerle, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of ^“^twenty^”^ thousand dollars for losses, sacrifices, and expen- ses incurred by him in testing and establishing the practi- cability and safety of the process of water rotting hemp, and for the breach of any contract or contracts entered into with said Myerle by the Navy Department, or under its authority, for the objects aforesaid. |
