For the relief of Joseph C. Doxey.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre-
sentatives of the United States of America in Congress
assembled
, That the Seeretaryof the Treasury be, and he
is hereby, directed to pay, out of any money in the treas-
ury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of seventy-five
dollars to Joseph C. Doxey, to be in full compensation for
the damages he sustained in consequence of the encamp-
ment of the troops of the United States, (under the com-
mand of General Hampton,) in August and September,
eighteen hundred and thirteen, upon his farm in Burling-
ton, Vermont.
