A BILL
For the relief of the heirs and legal representatives of Rignald, alias Nick Hillary.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre- esntatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and required to pay, out of any moneys in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to the legal representatives of Rignald, alias Nick Hillary, late of Georgetown, District of Columbia, son of Rignald, alias Reynald Hillary, the one-half of the five years’ full pay of a lieutenant in the revolutionary war; which five years’ full pay is the commutation of half pay for life: Provided, That, before such payment shall be made, the representa- tives of the said Nick, alias Rignald Hillary, shall procure |

to be made, and filed with the Secretary of the Treasury, a full and entire transfer to the United States of all claim and interest in and to two several judgments obtained in the county court of Prince George county, State of Maryland, by John B. Hillary and Mary Ellen Hillary against Eliza- beth Magruder, for the sum of two thousand dollars each, to be severally discharged by the payment of twelve hun- dred and five dollars and thirty cents, with interest and cost. Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That the Secretary of War be, and he is hereby, authorized and required to issue to the heirs-at-law of the said Rignald, alias Nick Hillary, a bounty land warrant for one hundred acres, being one-half of the bounty land due on account of services of the aforesaid Rignald, alias Reynold Hillary, a lieuten- ant of the Maryland line in the war of the Revolution; to be located on any of the public lands subject to private entry. |
