Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
of the United States of America in Congress assembled
, That
the time allowed for issuing military land warrants to the officers
and soldiers of the Revolutionary army, shall be extended to the
first day of January, eighteen hundred and forty
^fifty^ -two.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That the further quan-
tity of five hundred thousand acres of land be, and the same is
hereby, appropriated, in addition to the quantity heretofore ap[-]
propriated by the act entitled “An act for the relief of certain
officers and soldiers of the Virginia line and navy, and of the
continental army during the Revolutionary war, approved the
thirtieth of May, eighteen hundred and thirty;
^and that it shall be the duty of the President ^Secretary^ of the [United States?] ^Treasury^ to cause to be issued Land Scrip to satisfy the claims founded on said Land Warrants, which said Scrip shall be recievable in payment of any of the Public Lands which have been subject to and offered for ^at public^ sale in the United States, or any Teritory thereof^ which said appro-
priation shall be applied, in the manner provided by the said act,
to the unsatisfied warrants which have been or may be issued, as
therein directed, to the officers and soldiers and others, as de-

scribed in the first, fifth, and seventh sections of said act, with
the exception of the last paragraph of the first section, which
was repealed by the act of the thirteenth of July, eighteen hun-
dred and thirty-two.

Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That if the quantity of
land hereby appropriated shall not be sufficient to satisfy all the
unsatisfied warrants which shall be issued and presented on or
before the said first day of January, eighteen hundred and forty-
two, then the land hereby appropriated shall be distributed
among the said claimants pro rata.
