For the relief of Thomas Badger.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre-
sentatives of the United States of America in Congress
assembled
, That the Secretary of War be, and he is here-
by, directed to place the name of Thomas Badger, now a
resident of the town of Plattsburgh, in the county of Clin-
ton, and State of New York, on the list of invalid pen-
sioners; and that the said Badger receive a pension at the
rate of eight dollars a month, to commence on the four-
teenth day of January, eighteen hundred and forty-eight.
