For the relief of Medford Caffey.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre-
sentatives of the United States of America in Congress as-
sembled
, That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he
is hereby, directed to ascertain the value of the horse that
was lost by Medford Caffey, in the Seminole compaign of
eighteen hundred and eighteen, for want of forage, and to
pay the same out of any moneys in the treasury, not other-
wise appropriated.
