For additional preservation of the site of Fort Moultrie in Charleston Harbor. $3000.
1st Amendment Insert in line 65 after word “dollars,”
Provided, That, no portion of said sum of forty thousand dollars shall be expended for the objects aforesaid, until the United States shall procure a ^good and^ valid title, to so much of said great Brewsters Island as may be necessary to the accomplishment of the construction of the proposed fortification.
