For the relief of William Pool.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre-
sentatives of the United States of America in Congress
assembled
, That the Secretary of War be, and he hereby
is, directed to pay to William Pool, of Calais, in the county
of Washington, and State of Maine, the sum of four hun-
dred and eighty dollars, the same being for arrearages of
pension from the first day of January, anno Domini one
thousand eight hundred and thirty-six, to the first day of
January, anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and
forty-six; at which time said Pool’s name was placed on
the roll of invalid pensions.
