For the relief of the heirs of William Evans.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre- sentatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of War be, and he hereby is, directed to allow and pay to the heirs of William Evans, a pensioner on the revolutionary invalid pension roll, the amount of his invalid pension, from the third day of March, eighteen hundred and twenty-six, to the third day of November, eighteen hundred and thirty-six, during which time his said pension was withheld, or discontinued, in consequence of his taking the benefit of the act, entitled “An act for the relief of certain surviving officers and soldiers of the army of the Revolution,” passed May fif- teen, eighteen hundred and twenty-eight. |
