Chap. VIII. — An Act for the Relief of the Heirs of William Evans.
Heirs of Wm. Evans, deceased, to be allowed and paid certain arrearages of pension due to deceased.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of War be, and he hereby is, directed to allow and pay to the heirs of William Evans, a pensioner on the revolutionary invalid pension roll, the amount of his invalid pension from the third day of March, eighteen hundred and thirty-six, during which time his said pension was withheld or discontinued in consequence of his taking the benefit of the act entitled " An Act for the relief of certain surviving officers and soldiers of the army of the revolution," passed May fifteen, eighteen hundred and twenty-eight.
