BE IT ENACTED
By the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress Assembled.
That the proper accounting officers of the treasury be, and they are hereby, authorized and required to allow and pay to the legal representatives of Colonel Francis Vigo, late of Knox county, Indiana, deceased, the sum of eight thousand seven hundred and sixteen dollars and forty cents, with interest at the rate of five per cent per annum, from the twentieth day of March, seventeen hundred and seventy-nine; the same being for supplies furnished the Illinois regiment in the years seventeen hundred and seventy-eight, and ^seventeen hundred and^ seventy-nine, and for which a bill of exchange was drawn by General George Rogers Clarke, in favor of said Vigo, and which bill of exchange was never paid.
