A BILL
For the relief of the legal representatives of James Porterfield deceased.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre-
sentatives of the United States of America in Congress
assembled
, That the Secretary of the Treasury pay to
the legal representatives of James Porterfield, deceased,
late of the State of North Carolina, who was an assistant
commissary of purchases in the service of the United
States in the war of the Revolution, the sum of eight hun-
dred and twenty-nine dollars and seventy-seven cents, out of
any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, the
same being the amount due to said James Porterfield, as
standing upon the books of the treasury.
