For the relief of Casper B. Cook and others.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre-
sentatives of the United States of America in Congress
assembled
, That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and
he is hereby, directed to pay out of any moneys in the
Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to Casper B. Cook,
captain, and to Peter I. Saltsman, Frederick Saltsman,
Daniel Saltsman, John P. Cook, John C. Lipe, Peter P.
Waggoner, Joseph Egabroadt, Peter P. Suts, Jacob
Gross, George Gross, James Bliss, John Mellon, and
Henry A. Loucks, privates of a band of music attached
to the nineteenth regiment, eleventh brigade, and fourteenth
division of the infantry, of the infantry of the State of New
York, who were in the service of the United States for

three months during the late war with Great Britain, such
sum as is allowed by law to musicians of like grade for
three months’ services. And in case of the death of either
or any of the aforenamed persons, the money due to such
deceased person shall be paid to his or their legal repre-
sentatives respectively.
