That there be paid to Zachariah Lawrence, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise
appropriated, thirteen hundred and twenty two-dollars and seventy cents, in the nature
of salvage: Provided, It shall be proved to the satisfaction of the Secretary of the
Treasury that said Zachariah Lawrence commanded the boat that captured, and took into
the port of Passamaquoddy, the British sloop Venture, in the year one thousand eight
hundred and thirteen, and has received no compensation for that service.
