A BILL
For the relief of Gideon Walker.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre-
sentatives of the United States of America in Congress
assembled
, That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and
he is hereby, directed to pay to Gideon Walker, of In-
diana, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise
appropriated, in full compensation for his services in the
United States army, from the ninth day of May, seventeen
hundred and ninety-two, to the fifteenth day of May, sev-
enteen hundred and ninety-five, such sum as, by law, sol-
diers, performing similar duties at that time, were entitled
to; deducting, however, from the amount to which he was
entitled for clothing and for rations, clothing for six
months and rations for eight months.
