A BILL
For the relief of Dr. A. G. Henry, of Illinois.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Represen-
tatives of the United States of America in Congress as-
sembled, That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he
is hereby, directed to pay out of any moneys in the
treasury not otherwise appropriated, to Dr. A. G. Henry,
of Illinois, such amount for transportation, subsistence,
and medicines, and medical attention, furnished, and pro-
cured to be furnished, by him in June, eighteen hundred
and forty-six, to the company of Captain Edward Jones,
of Col. E. D. Baker’s regiment of Illinois volunteers,
as it shall be ascertained he has actually paid, or is legally
liable to pay therefor; also, a reasonable compensation
for his services, and for his personal expenses while ob

taining said supplies during said month of June, eighteen
hundred and forty-six: Provided, That all payments
made upon the aforesaid accounts shall be deducted from
the allowances herein authorized to be made to the said
Dr. A. G. Henry.
