For the relief of Elizabeth Converse, widow of Josiah Converse.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Represen-
tatives of the United States of America in Congress assem-
bled
, That the Secretary of War be, and he is hereby,
authorized and required to cause to be issued to Elizabeth
Converse, widow of Josiah Converse, or the heirs or legal
representatives of the said Josiah Converse, a bounty
land warrant for one hundred and fifty acres of land, to
which the said Josiah Converse was entitled for services
rendered during the revolutionary war, as an ensign in the
Massachusetts line.
