reported the following bill:
A BILL
To regulate the pay and emoluments of the professors in the
Naval School and the National Observatory.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre-
sentatives of the United States of America in Congress
assembled
, That the pay and emoluments of the professors
in the Naval School and in the National Observatory shall
hereafter be the same as the pay and emoluments of the
professors of mathematics in the Military Academy at
West Point.
