For the relief of Nathaniel Shiflett.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre-
sentatives of the United States of America in Congress
assembled
, That the Secretary of War be, and he is here-
by, directed to place the name of Nathaniel Shiflet, of
Albermarle, in the State of Virginia, on the roll of invalid
pensions, and to pay to him the sum of five dollars
and thirty-three cents per month, from the first day of
January, anno Domini eighteen hundred and forty-eight,
during his natural life.
