That the proper accounting officers of the treasury be, and they are hereby, required
to settle the account of Captain Samuel Jones, deceased, and allow his legal representatives
five year’s full pay as a captain in the service of the United States on continental
establishment; which five year’s full pay is the commutation of his half pay for life;
to be paid to his said legal representatives out of any money in the treasury not
othwise appropriated.
