To authorize the Commissioner of Patents to renew the patent
of Cyrus H. McCormick, for his horizontal plough.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre- sentatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Commissioner of Patents be autho- rized to grant to Cyrus H. McCormick a renewal of his letters patent, from the term of fourteen years, from the ex- piration of his former patent, for his “Self-sharpening hori- zonal plough,” subject to the rules and usages of the Patent Office, and the laws now in force upon the subject of granting and extending patent rights. |
