BE IT ENACTED
By the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in
Congress Assembled.
That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay out of any moneys in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, to Thomas B. Graham the sum of two thousand one hundred and ninety-two dollars and fifteen cents, it being in full payment for damages sustained by him in consequence of the United States Steam frigate Alleghany having sunk the said Graham’s flat boat in the Mississippi river, together with the produce that was in said boat when it was sunk and destroyed by said steam frigate.
