for the relief of George R. Ward of the City of New York.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States in Congress assembled, that the Secretary of the Treasury be and he is hereby authorized and directed to release and discharge George R. Ward of the City of New York, formerly Clerk of Berryman & Ebbetts of said City, from his liability

on or under certain ^all^ bonds ^to the United States^ executed by him as one of the Sureties of Berryman & Ebbetts in the year One thousand Eight hundred and thirty six and from all liability on or under any and all judgments [recoured?] upon said bonds or any of them. the said George R. Ward having been a minor at the time such bonds were executed.
