That the Secretary of War be, and he is hereby, directed to place the name of John
Knight, of Maryland, on the roll of invalid pensions, and pay to him the sum of four
dollars per month, from the first day of January, anno Domini, eighteen hundred and
forty-seven, to continue during his natural life.
