For the relief of the legal representatives of George W.
Milam, deceased.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre-
sentatives of the United States of America in Congress
assembled
, That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he
is hereby, directed to pay to the legal representatives of
George W. Milam, a private in the company of Captain
B. V. Beckes’s company of United States rangers, the sum
of sixty-five dollars, in full payment for his horse, which
was lost by being turned out to graze for want of forage,
by order of his commanding officer.
