Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre- sentatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, directed to pay to the legal representatives of George W. Milam, a private in the company of Captain B. V. Beckes’s company of United States rangers, the sum of sixty-five dollars, in full payment for his horse, which was lost by being turned out to graze for want of forage, by order of his commanding officer. |
