A Bill entitled an Act to permit ^authorize^ the Trustees of Newark College in the State of Delaware to import certain Philosophical Apparatus free of duty.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled That the Trustees of Newark College in the State of Delaware be and they are hereby authorised to import free of duty such Philosophical Apparatus for the use of said College as they in their discretion may deem proper and expedient.
Provided that such apparatus shall be imported within two years from the passage of this act, and shall not exceed in value the sum of
