Appropriating money to remove the sunken rocks in the harbor
of New York.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre- sentatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the sum of ten thousand dollars be, and the same is hereby, appropriated, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, to be expended under the direction of the Secretary of War, in removing the sunken rocks which obstruct the harbor of New York, at and near the confluence of the Hudson and the East rivers. |
