Mr. N. K. Hall, from the Committee on the Judiciary, re-
ported the following bill:
A BILL
To re-enact and continue in operation certain acts for the
relief of insolvent debtors of the United States.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre-
sentatives of the United States of America in Congress
assembled
, That the act, entitled “An act to extend for a
longer period the several acts now in force for the relief
of insolvent debtors of the United States,” approved the
twenty-seventh of May, one thousand eight hundred and
forty, and the several acts therein mentioned, shall be, and
the same are hereby, re-enacted and continued in force for
three years after the passage of this act, and thereafter
until the cases, which may be then pending under this act,
shall be determined for the special and only purpose of
finally disposing of such cases, and for no other purpose
whatever.
