That the Secretary of War be, and he is hereby, required to place the name of William
Via, of Nelson county, Virginia, upon the pension roll, for twelve months’ service
as a private soldier during the revolutionary war, and pay him at the rate of forty
dollars a year commencing on the first of December, anno Domini eighteen hundred and
forty-four.
