BE IT ENACTED
By the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in
Congress Assembled.
That the Secretary of War, is hereby required to place the name of Eliza A. Mellon, widow of the late captain Charles Mellon, who fell at Fort Mellon, in Florida, upon the pension roll, at the rate of twenty dollars per month, commencing on the eighth day of February, eighteen hundred and forty-seven, and continuing during her natural life.
