BE IT ENACTED
By the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in
Congress Assembled.
That the following sums be, and the same are hereby, appropriated for the payment of navy pensions for the year ending thirtieth of June, one thousand eight hundred and forty-nine, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated:
To pay invalid pensions, thirty-eight thousand dollars.
To pay the pensions of widows of officers, seamen and marines, forty-one thousand dollars.
To pay pensions under the privateer pension fund, as pledged by the government by act of Congress, of June twenty-sixth, eighteen hundred and twelve, three thousand dollars.
