BE IT ENACTED
By the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in
Congress Assembled.
That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay to Samuel A. Grier, out of any moneys in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of four hundred and sixty-two dollars and ten cents; it being the sum by him paid to a district marshal of the United States upon an execution issued in favor of said States, less sixty dollars and eighty-one cents, which was the amount owed by the postmaster for which he was security, and less fifty-two dollars and two cents, costs of suit.
