For the relief of certain clerks in the New York custom-house,
in the year eighteen hundred and forty-one.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre- sentatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of any moneys in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, to cer- tain clerks who performed extra service in the custom- house of New York, in the year eighteen hundred and forty-one, the sum of fourteen hundred and seventy-four dollars, according to the estimate of the auditor, made the fourteenth of October, eighteen hundred and forty-one. |
