A BILL
For the relief of certain clerks in the New York custom-house,
in the year eighteen hundred and forty-one.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre-
sentatives of the United States of America in Congress
assembled
, That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and
he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of any
moneys in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, to cer-
tain clerks who performed extra service in the custom-
house of New York, in the year eighteen hundred and
forty-one, the sum of fourteen hundred and seventy-four
dollars, according to the estimate of the auditor, made
the fourteenth of October, eighteen hundred and forty-one.
