BE IT ENACTED
By the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in
Congress Assembled.
That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of any moneys in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, to George Hervey, on behalf of the owners and consignees of the English ship James Mitchell, or his legal representative, the sum of one thousand three hundred and fifty dollars and fifty five cents, being the amount of a balance not paid to the said George Hervey by the Secretary of the Navy, from the sum of five thousand two hundred and sixty-four dollars and ninety-eight cents, expressly appropriated by an act of Congress, approved May twenty-eighth, eighteen hundred and thirty, for the relief of the late Alexander Claxton, in the libel case decided against him in the Superior court for the district of East Florida, to indemnify the owners and consignees of the said ship James Mitchell.
