For the relief of Joshua Dodge.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre-
sentatives of the United States of America in Congress
assembled
, That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he
is hereby, authorized to pay to Joshua Dodge, late special
tobacco agent of the United States to the various govern-
ments of Europe, out of any money in the treasury not
otherwise appropriated, the sum of four thousand five hun-
dred dollars, in full compensation for his services, and for
contingent and other expenses incurred by him during the
period of his three missions as said special tobacco agent,
and for services rendered to the tobacco interest of the
United States.
