BE IT ENACTED
By the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in
Congress Assembled.
That the name of Maurice R. Simons, lately serving under General Taylor in Mexico, be placed on the roll of invalid pensions at the rate of eight dollars a month, commencing the first day of March eighteen hundred and forty-eight, to continue during his natural life.
