Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre- sentatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Commissioner of Patents be, and he is hereby, authorized to renew and extend, for the term of seven years from the passage of this act, the letters patent heretofore granted to John Goulding, for his improvement in the machinery for the manufacture of wool and other fibrous substances: Provided, That such renewal and ex- tension shall not have the effect or be construed to restrain persons now using the machinery invented by said Gould- ing from continuing the use of the same. |
