BE IT ENACTED
By the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress Assembled.
^(^That a collection district be, and the same is hereby, erected and established in the State of South Carolina, to be known as the Bucksville district; and that Bucksville, in the district of Horry, in said State, be, and the same is hereby, made a port of entry.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That said collection district of Bucksville shall include the district of Horry, now a part of the collection district of Georgetown, and that Bucksville, aforesaid, shall be the only port of entry in said collection district of Bucksville.
Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That a collector and such other revenue officers as may be necessary, shall be appointed for said district, who shall reside at Bucksville, and whose compensation shall be the usual fees & forfeitures provided by law, and no more.
Sec. 4. And be it further enacted,^)^ That the town of Essex in the State of Massachusetts, now included in the collection district of Newburyport, shall hereafter be included in, and form a part of, the collection district of Gloucester.

“An Actto establish a Collection district in the State of South Carolina, and for other purposes,” do pass, with the following
Amendments:
Strike out all after the enacting clause, to and including the word “enacted” in the first line of the fourth section.
Amend the title of the bill by striking out all after the words “An Act;” and inserting: to annex the town of Essex in the State of Massachusetts, to the Collection district of Gloucester.
