BE IT ENACTED
By the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in
Congress Assembled.
That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and required to pay to Conrad Hinds, and Isaac Post, husband of Susannah, late Susannah Hinds, the heirs of Lieutenant Bartlett Hinds, an officer of the revolution, in the Massachusetts line on the continental establishment, five years full pay of a Lieutenant in such service, being the commutation of half pay for life, promised by the resolves of Congress, together with such interest thereon as would now be due, if a final settlement certificate had been issued to the said Bartlett Hinds for the amount of his commutation, and the same had been subscribed to the loan created by the act of seventeen hundred and ninety, providing for the funding of the debt of the United States, to be paid out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated.
