That the Secretary of War is, hereby, authorized and directed to enroll Joseph Taylor
of Fayette county, Pennsylvania, in the roll of invalid pensioners, and that a pension
of eight dollars per month, beginning on the first day of January, eighteen hundred
and forty-eight, be paid to him during his natural life.
