BE IT ENACTED
By the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in
Congress Assembled.
That William Snavely, of Indiana, be, and he is hereby, directed to be paid, by the Secretary of the Treasury, out of any moneys not otherwise appropriated, the sum of one hundred and ninety-two dollars and ninety-three cents, with interest thereon, at the rate of six per cent per annum, from the second day of October, eighteen hundred and thirty-five, in full discharge and satisfaction of his claim against the United States, on account of a sale made to him improperly, and by mistake, at the land office at Laporte, Indiana, of the southwest quarter of section number seven, in township number thirty-six north of range number five west; the same being an Indian reservation, and not subject to sale by the United States.
