Congress Assembled.
That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, directed to pay to Augustus
Ford, sixty dollars, out of any moneys in the treasury not otherwise appropriated,
the said Ford first proving to the satisfaction of the Secretary of the Treasury that
he paid that amount to an officer of the United States upon his demand for the rent
of property not belonging to, nor in the possession of, the government, and that said
officer had accounted for the same in his settlement with the treasury.
