That the Secretary of War is hereby directed to place the name of William Pittman
on the list of invalid pensioners of the United States, and that the said Pittman
be entitled to receive a pension of eight dollars per month, from the thirteenth day
of May, eighteen hundred and forty-six, and to continue during his natural life.
