Chap. CXLI. — An Act for the Relief of the President and Directors of the Union Bank of Florida.
Secretary of Treasury to pay the President and Directors of the Union Bank of Florida,
$2474.02, with interest, for advances made by them to the governor of Florida, to
provide against attacks of hostile Indians.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America
in Congress assembled, That the Secretary

of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, directed to pay, out of any money in the treasury
not otherwise appropriated, to the President and Directors of the Union Bank of Florida,
the sum of two thousand four hundred and seventy-four dollars and two cents, and interest
thereon from the first of January, one thousand eight hundred and forty-six, in full
payment for money advanced by them to the governor of Florida, to provide for the
defence of the people of said territory against the attacks of the hostile Indians.
