For the relief of B. M. Bouton.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre-
sentatives of the United States of America in Congress
assembled
, That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and
he is hereby, required to pay to B. M. Bouton, the sum
of ten thousand dollars, upon condition that the said
Bouton shall secure to the government the use of his
machine for the manufacture of percussion caps for the
military and naval service of the United States.
